The " Little Gem"
Majacraft's "Little Gem" is a state of the art travelling folding wheel. It is especially useful fo those who need to transport their spinning wheel but has the capability and smoothness to cater for all types of spinning. It is fully packaged with three bobbins in it's own thermal bag.
The Gem 2 includes changes to the pedals to give a more relaxed spinning position, some minor design changes to the crank asssembly and it now includes a travelling kate in the bag for total freedom.
The Gem 2 is also available packaged with the folding stool and they can be ordered together. This makes "Gem" very suitable for use while on vacation, or away from home, as it can be transported folded flat but assembled, or in the special carry bag made for this wheel. The bag has a carry handle as well as a shoulder strap included.
The Gem easily handles tasks of spinning and plying mohair, silk, etc . The Little Gem, although small and incredibly light (around kilos or 10 lbs), is stable on any surface.

A classic wheel for every spinner
* The complete wheel - A Premium Wheel with many accessories packaged with it that makes it a wheel almost every spinner will feel comfortable using. The Rose is a double treadle upright wheel with light smooth treadle action and features a traditional spoked drive wheel, ease of use, ease of threading.
* Supplied with a bobbin box which can be used as a lazy
kate.
* Supplied with a normal and fast whorl, two flyers with delta
and fine fiber flyer, and a jumbo as well as normal flyer
hook.
* Complete with four bobbins.
* The handle folds to allow easy handling

* The ROSE uses dependable scotch tension for smooth and
easy spinning.

Ratios - The "Rose" comes with two whorls to give a range of ratios. Main ratiios are 4.25:1, 6:1, 8.0:1, 11:1 and 14.5:1 on the
largest whorl and 6:1, 9:1, 13.25:1, 16:5 and 19:5 on the smaller whorl. These ratios are approximate due to variations in hand-turned wheels.
Bearings - Flyer shaft and wheel are mounted on sealed roller bearings. Conrods mounted on spherical bearings and teflon liners.
Drive Band - flexible polycord
Tension Adjustment - Had fitted witha scotch tension. Drive belt
adjustment is by sliding head vertically in slot.

The "SUZIE"

The Suzie has a reputation for smoothness and ease of
spinning. Majacraft makes a number of accessories that
extend the capability of this delightful wheel.
The most recent change in design has added weight to
the wheel and has resulted in one of the most attractive
spinning wheels. The Suzie is constructed from solid
rimu (New Zealand native timber), except for the wheel
which is a rimu veneered MDF. This is used for its
exceptional stability in all climates as well as an
excellent weight factor.

The"Suzie Professional"
Majacraft also produces a professional with a green wheel and whorl. This wheel is approximately 10 % heavier, and slightly larger than our rimu wheel. It gives smoother spinning with greater inert and is a favorite of many spinners. This is a wheel for those who take their spinning seriously. All other specifications are as for the Suzie.
